About Me:
I am a guitar player from Moscow, Russia. Last years I am in love with the music played on a baroque guitar. I just came back from Krieglach, Austria where I attended the master-classes with Mr. Rolf Lislevand and Mr. Thor-Harald Johnsen. And I am currently looking for my first baroque guitar.
Hooray! Thanks to Alexander Batov, now I have my first baroque guitar!!!
And she is beautiful!!!

Hi Yar,

I met Alexander Batov at an early music festival and played one of his baroque guitars and yes they are fantastic.

Juan Pira's discussion on finding scores has created a nice improvement to our Ning group. There is now a new menu tab, a listing of scores, and links to the various member pages where the scores can be found. For the time being I will be maintaining the the score list. Let me know if you have any suggestions/corrections for improving the list.

OK, let me explain a bit. I can only make a rather limited number of such guitars (perhaps one in a year or two) and, based on my own discretion, usually for those who absolutely can not afford a fully featured (and, as it is, more expensive) instrument. I can't promise anything at the moment but let's keep in touch.

Great to hear that you are so committed to baroque guitar. I might be able to help you one day if you don't mind undecorated instrument, which would otherwise be as good for the purpose (I mean sound wise, set up etc) as more expensive models. By the way I'll be making one later in the year for my old friend there in Moscow.

Hello Yar,

Nice to see you here. Do you play vihuela / baroque guitar etc?

Regards,
Alexander
