Baroque guitar ornaments/strumming

Following on from Rob and Tronds comments can anyone point me to a source (book or web) that goes some way to describing Baroque guitar ornaments and strumming methods and techniques. I think I can vaguely do a rather clumsy strum that is neither Flamenco nor Baroque guitar.

It is expensive, but is the best history of the instruments and includes a tutor for the 5c, covering strumming and ornaments. I have found it a very useful book.
