you noticed once my mistake with Sacha's name. May I tell you "vieil ton" is the good way to write it.

Two single strings. Definitely not what Dowland expected, but there is a painting from the period showing just such stringing.

I agrre with you on your dreams, and share them delightfully. Curiously, I've never thought of such dreams about this wonderfull piece till today. Thanks, and very well done, with great breath.
Do you play on two simple strings on the first and second courses (my HP here can't make the difference)?
