Hoi Patrig, thanks for the response. The guitar in the recording is the guitar in my profile pic. It is lovely, but a little bit hard to play. I am going to make a 'proper' recording of the piece soon.

Hi Patrig

Thanks for your kind comments. My thesis is not published yet (beyond the Library of DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in Dublin, Ireland). I hope to get it up on the web for all to see in the near(ish) future. Sadly, as of yet, my French is rudimentary. I had to make use of translators in my research work.

Dear Patrig,
it is not always easy to keep in touch with so many different instruments, musical styles and repertoires but this year I intend to present them all in the same concert-lecture about the evolution of the guitar! It is an amazing journey...!!

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear of your broken arm!
I will surely let you know when I've got a 'romantic guitar' to try. As much as I like the appearance and woodwork of Lacote guitars, my favourite model (i.e. sound wise) still remains that of Stauffer.

We should have been friends long time ago, shouldn't we? All best wishes!

bonjour,
