I did not set these for a specific stringing. I mostly tried to keep the bass notes as low as possible, to be played with the thumb. Some work OK with high 5th course, but others will be happier with a bourdon on the 5th -- such as when the "melody" moves to the 4th course.
Given Sanz's comment suggesting Kapsberger played guitar, I have been thinking about a Kapsberger sequel.
