Renaissance guitar strings

Enjoying my new Ren guitar, sent from the builder with Nylon top and the rest Carbon Fiber (never a favorite of mine on lutes at least).

Assuming I'm not going gut with this one, what have people found to be the most enjoyable alternatives on a 4 course?

Dear Daniel,

Congrats for your ren guitar and your first video of Morlaye. Regarding the strings choice, you can try Savarez alliance kf : they come in various gauges and lengths, so once you have checked the scale length and the pitch you want through a string calculator, you can purchase exactly the strings that best suit the instrument.

As a side note, you might check the wonderful videos of Massimo Lonardi on YT, he sometimes plays in a rather low pitch with great efficiency.
