Scot: The rrom in wich we play isnt the same as in our video but its a house from the same period - about 1805 -10 and. The room has a excellent resonance unfortunatly just outside of the window there is a small pond with a fountain that makes some noice so it ruins the recording a bit.

Rob: You have a point regarding Bream. I.ve often read that the concerts in the first half of the 19th cen. was mixed with ex some singing some guitarmusic and when playing a symphony they seldom played the whole piece but single movements by different composer.

I love it when performances are done in the right setting, with the right clothes.  It just doesn't feel the same when the performers are wearing Metallica T-shirts and ripped jeans.

So Bream wasn't so 'inauthentic' when he cut and pasted different Diabelli movements? Interesting. And why not, indeed?
Yes, that room looks familiar. Can't you ask your audience to be in period dress as well?

Excellent guys. This room you are playing in, haven't we seen it in some of your other videos? Is it a regular place you play? It's a little hard to tell from the on-line sound but the room seems to have excellent resonance for your guitars.

Actually the menuet and trio isnt original together. Francois de Fossa has made his own "suites" using different pices of Haydn. Some of the movements are pianosonatas and others are taken from stringquartets.

Excellent. Did he arrange the whole work?
