They always should have been! I think the fan bracing makes them sound too modern for the "quaintish" tastes of some modern early-music specialists.

Shortish, but typical of Austrian guitars at the time and a little earlier at ca. 61 cm and probably not terz. I keep it tuned to E. This is my favorite within my little stable, great for Mertz.
