I'm recording Sances'  4th volume from 1636 right now, for release sometime in 2014.

So glad that you like the Grandi. It's the endorsement of folks like you that tells me I'm on the right track!

I do so agree.  The role of the guitar in these songs has been much misunderstood and maligned.   Bud has proved that it is a very effective and attractive way of performing them.   It may come as a bit of a surprise to listeners who are used to elaborately orchestrated accompaniments (including persucssion sometimes!).   But they work perfectly as self accompanied songs which is how they were intended to be performed.   Keep up the good work Bud.   Hope to hear some more of your work soon.

This is a great recording - a very important recording for the baroque guitar. Bud has a really beautiful and appropriate voice, and no one could accompany him better than he does himself.
