Early Guitars and Vihuela

A network for historic guitars and vihuelas

Please excuse the blatent commercialism...

I'm starting advertising Skype lessons for vihuela, guitar, classic banjo and ukulele. I imagine there are many places in the world where it is hard to get hold of a local early-guitar and vihuela teacher. So, if you are interested, please get in touch.

Here's how it works....

1. Email me to discuss your wish to have a lesson

2. You must have Skype video installed - go to www.skype.com

3. You pay me £35 via PayPal

4. We book a time slot of one hour

And that's it. Have your instrument ready and tuned to pitch, and a pencil and paper. And it would be good to tell me before hand which pieces you are working on and what you would like to discuss, so that I can be prepared for you.

Finding a time slot for people in different time zones might be tricky. I wouldn't want to be teaching at 6am or midnight! But hopefully we could come to an agreement on a suitable time.

That's a very good idea Rob and I hope you get positive anscrews about it.
All the best and success, Patrig
Good Idea Rob. Once I get my new (which is on order) Baroque guitar you'll most likely be seeing my smiling face.
Whoa! Good idea! I'm a brand new father, so I won't be able to take advantage of this for a little bit, but I will be in touch. You have some really great and revolutionary ideas about teaching, promoting these instruments, as well as the future of the recorded "album". Great work, Rob. I look forward to a web-based lesson in the near future!
