Dear Eugene

There is a digital version of Sanz' Instruccion on the website of the Biblioteca Nacional Español. I hope this works: http://bibliotecadigitalhispanica.bne.es/view/action/nmets.do?DOCCH...

Or otherwise a simple search of the catalogue and you should find it.

Thanks for your reply Jelma.

But it seems that there is no tarantells in Sanz's instructions.

There are some passacaglias, canarios, marizapolos and many others but I can't see any tarantela in it.

Maybe there is some other manuscript with Sanz? Or maybe I've missed some pages...

It is on page 25 of the pdf.

Hmm there are only 8 bars of chords. But I'm looking for this:

Or this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=wyHBbg...

starts form 13:13

It says "improvisation" on Sanz's Tarantella.  Maybe if you just try playing a taratella rhythm with those chords and see what that leads to...

Hi,

I just finished deciphering this piece today.

I learned it exactly the same way as Xavier plays it. I just tuned my guitar the same way as him (no bourdons, octave on the third...) and I copied what he was doing. Just follow the chord pattern, that's all he does anyway...

But anyway, do what I did, use your ears and do what he does, it's not that difficult.

When I have some free time I will sit down to write it down, then I might post it here so people can enjoy it.

Take care,

K

Hi Konstantin,

did you make this tabs for tarantella? :)

cheers
