Colista: Passacaille dite Mariona

In Tylers "The Guitar and its Music" he mentions a showpiece "Passacaille dite Mariona" by Lelio Colista (1629-80) from the Derossier Ms which mostly contains music from Le Cocq. He brings the last page of the tab on page 132. He mentions in a note that the whole piece in tab is in his other book: "A Brief Tutor for the Baroque Guitar" (Helsinki 1984), which is impossible to find - and I'm even Scandinavian:-). Does anyone have a copy of the piece or book or know where to find it? Would appreciate it!

Dear Michael,
I don't know if there are any editions of the piece aside from the facsimile edition of the entire Brussels manuscript, which is no longer available. But, by coincidence, I include it in my new anthology of baroque guitar music called: A Guide to Playing the Baroque Guitar which will be published in January by Indiana University Press, here in the United States. All the pieces will have a faithful computer-generated copy of the original tablatures, whether in Italian or French tablature and a separate staff notation transcription which represents the acutual pitches of the notes, plus commentary and discussions of performance practice issues. The anthology is made up of music which I consider performance worthy music, including some items for guitar and basso continuo.

Thank you for your answer - Im looking forward to the release of your book. I think it will fill a gap in the litterature on the Baroque guitar - this music deserves to reach a much wider audience than it does for the time being. Maybe you can - when the time comes- include a link to the relevant bookstore or if they sell it directly from Indiana University Press.
