I'm taking Baroque guitar lessons from Elizabeth Brown, who encouraged me to transcribe some favorite Christmas carols in French tab. Several results are attached, scored in Sibelius (I'm a novice Sibelius user).

Sounds like a good idea.

This one was already well known when the only kind of guitar you could get was baroque.

Here's a simple "Puer natus in Bethlehem" transcription from the original Tenor-Bassus parts in Piae Cantiones
(source: Piae Cantiones facsimile). There are ten more verses if this is too short.

Let's face it.  Most people want to hear "the other" holiday music. So give them something they like.

Very easy... In this one you have to be careful with your octave stringing... if you do it right some of this might even sound as something for Baroque Guitar.
