Fronimo or Django?

I posted this on the lute group but no one has replied so I'll try here:

Do most of you use Django or Fronimo for typesetting tab? How about Lilypond? Do any of these allow conversion of ASCII tab into more eye-friendly output?

Donald Sauter has kindly produced a webpage with a wealth of tab, but all in ASCII which is hard on my eyes for some reason. I like the stuff I've seen produced in both Django and Fronimo, but their support leaves a little to be desired so I'm asking on these Ning groups to see if anyone here knows.

I'm using both Django and Fronimo (more Django to type my own tabs,  but Fronimo is useful to print some tabs found on the net...)

I don't know about ascii tabs... Sorry
