Hello Steffen,

I can't help you much, as I really can't remember what I did to this instrument.  I remember taking it to Northern Renaissance Instruments (N.R.I.) so Eph Segerman could X ray it   He advised me to make detailed notes about any work I did on the instrument, and send them to the owner so they could be kept with the instrument. I did this. The problem is I can no longer remember what I did.

I have a record from 1979 of being paid £377 by H.Waechter for work on this instrument.  This was quite a lot of money at the time.  Maybe I made and fitted a new front..
