Early Guitars and Vihuela

A network for historic guitars and vihuelas

This Chacone comes from a manuscript in Sweden, the Mörner MS edited by Rocky Mjos. I have mixed it with parts from a chaconne by Corbetta.

hi Trond,
what a filigrane and mediative Chaconne, it´s very delightful to follow your interpretation of the piece´s developement in fine transitions...
my latest chaconne (just a click at the upper right corner of your video ;-))) ) is so completely different with powerful contrasts ;-))) but it is pretty unknown (i did adapt it from an Angelique tabulatura)...
greatings from Berlin again - Siegfried
