Preparations and problems

Bad news. Being military, we move around pretty frequently and my dad plans on retiring this year so we are moving for the final time and I have to put off the Renaissance guitar project. I went scouring the internet for a smaller and easier project and I decided to attempt the Pochette violin. Seems pretty simple so it should be done when I get the schedule fixed.

Finished plans

I just now finished drawing the plan for the belly of the Renaissance guitar.  While I was in class learning about proportions, I decided to use proportions on the Guillaume Morlaye cover picture. I used the sting length of a renaissance guitar now owned by Akira Skamoto of this forum and divided that by the string length in the picture and that was the scale factor. I's trying to get my dad to get me spruce from Old World Tonewoods And when I get the wood I'll get right to work. I might…
