"It's 100%  French (100% not Italian), Mirecourt. possible an early Roudhloff. They sometimes stamped their guitars inside on the linings. But never seen their decoration (inlays) in that style. "

Unless this is to be a museum piece. It's got a gorgeous sound though, so would be good to get it to perfect working order.Shell inlay dots.String length 59cm.Located in Portland Oregon.Buyer to pay packaging and shipping.$2500 USDSee More

Bastien was a luthier from Mirecourt, he worked during the frontier 18/19th century, he went to Turin, then to Nice which was Italian town at this period. His guitars are well considered, sometimes in the Turin school, sometimes in the Mirecourt shape. Can you post a photo of the brand?

Thanks, Françoise
