Chambure Vihuela measurements

I am building my second Chambure Vihuela according to a set of plans by the Musée de la Musique, Paris. Are  soundboards of guitars of the Panormo workshop 2nd quarter of 19th Cent. varnished? If they are, with what, French polishing/shellac? Or how are they sealed otherwise?See More

Hello Dr Henner kahlert,

   Is the bridge glue on and no screw behind (underneath) the sound board ? I wonder if it ever comes off, what kind of glue do they use?
