- About me:
- I am a Frankfurt-based music historian and a specialist in Irish art music. I have been researchng Irish musical history for more than 35 years and was awarded a DMus (h.c.) in 2022 from the National Univ. of Ireland, I guess for my perseverance. The guitar has been my first instrument since the age of 13. I am only just beginning to include guitar interests in my activity even though I published a few articles in the early 1990s (Gitarre & Laute, Classical Guitar, Das Musikinstrument). I've written and edited many guitar-related articles on Wikipedia.
