According to the expert luthier who restaured this one, it could be dated from 1800 (style, technique used for the making... see the typical bridge and the head, not yet the 8 form but still in the baroque form) There is a mark inside : Rémy à Limoges, could be the name of the maker or the saler ? It is in the Mirecourt style. So a very early six strings guitar.
Soundboard is spruce, body in a fruitwood (peer, apple ?) bridge and fretboard in ebony, frets bone and ebony. Pegs are newly made as original were lost. The guitar was found in an attic, covered by dust and more... and the body separated from the head and fretboard.

How old is this? How does it sound compared to modern guitars?
