I say, go for real gut Vladimir. Its sound better. I started out with nylgut and then wanted to try real gut. I think the sound is more authentic with gut and it suits the 19th century guitars better. If You play with long nails though they might tend to ware out quicker thats why i simply cut of my long nails when i started using gut and I dont play the modern guitar anymore so I'm over that problem with the nails ;-)

Tulacek recomand me savarez carbon but i ´d like maybe test gut strings. It could be interesting to try original strings. I have got guitar only one week It is very new :-)

I'm using pyramid flurocarbon strings, but I bought aquila ambra 800 nylgut and I'll test it as soon as possible. And you?

Good for you Raimondo! I thought it might be original but it looks in such good condition I wasn't sure.

Pretty guitar. Is it an original or replica?
