Hi Chris,

Alan here. Been a while. I wanted to see how you were. I was playing your pardessus this morning. You may have seen it listed for sale here and there. Actually however, the voice of it, as I long ago had told you is just wonderful. I have listed it for sale now and then, but at a higher price as I really am not wanting to sell it. It is perfect for my playing (a now mostly baroque violin player but ex-cello player). So, I am likely never to sell it finding an affection for your workmanship. To point. I love it. How are you? I hope you are okay. I have been looking for baroque instruments (always doing that) and I am today purchasing three very nice baroque bows from a baroque player in Europe who I met on Facebook and was willing to sell some bows to me. Anyway, I wanted to say hello. Have you or are you building instruments? I hope you are. You are quite talented. Let me know.

You goodness is not forgotten!

Kindness,

Alan

Hi Christopher,

I am 69. Play a lot of violin. I also play guitar. I have one other at 60cm. I would like to purchase this 59cm one you have listed. This is a very good size for me considering the violin (and age).

Let me know,

Alan

Hello Christopher,

I'm glad you like the manuscript.

The long slash marks with a dot in the middel is the letter f.

Hello Christopher. I would recommend uploading your score to your own page. I will then add a listing on the Scores page, directing people to your member page. To upload files (PDF, Fronimo, JPEG, etc.) you may follow the link on the Score page to Ning's Help Page. But you can also just jump in: on your member page there is a section below your Profile Information (Comments?). If you click on the Edit button a text area will open up. You may type in some information about your score, if you wish (see Juan Pira's page, for example). To upload a score you would simply click on the rightmost icon above the open text box (it looks like a blank page with the corner folded over), you should then get a pop-up window allowing you to navigate through your computer to find the file you wish to upload. Click the Accept or OK button and the file should soon be copied and uploaded. In your text box you will see the computer code that the website needs to identify your file. Next click the Save button below the text box and you should see the file name appear as a link for others to download. Let me know if you have further questions. And let me know when I can add your score to the list. Thanks for sharing!
