Nice piece in the "Papillons" opus 50, in the form of a tarentella.

Hello Scot
Here I play on Aquila nylgut, but I'll try soon gut strings.
About technic I'm afraid I can't anymore play thumb out even on the baroque lute or theorbo), but I'm not a guitarist, I'm first a lutenist... ;-)

Very nice Valery! One of my favorite 19th century guitar composers. Being a 19th century guitarest frist and foremost I have to say I cannot get used to the sight of the lute style thumb under right hand technique some players use. Sure works well But then I'm sure lute players say the same thing about how I play lute..."cannot get used to that thumb out guitar stuff".

Have you ever checked out Giuliani's Op. 148, Giulianate? Guiliani gets all emotional in these pieces and lets us know he has feelings...L'amoroso, L'allegria and so on. Some fun pieces in there. Well worth a look IMO. A couple challenging ones as well, for good measure.

The guitar sounds good too. You playing gut strings there?
