Was reading from ukulele tabs :) Well, as for me the renaissance guitar is very similar to tenor-ukulele.

Yes on this vid I put an octave on the fourth course, thumb side, to have the high g like on the uke (it is also an historical stringing for ren. guitar) so  :  gG cc ee a Like James Tyler said in his book.

Do you use octave stringing on 4-th course? I have unisons but thinking about octave.
