A network for historic guitars and vihuelas
One of the most beautiful songs in the renaissance guitar literature, La Seraphine is found in Guillaume Morlaye's book 4 of 1552 and is one of the rare pieces in "old tuning" (acorde auallée) with the lowest course tuned down to an F. Paul O'Dette actually believes it might be by Albert de Rippe whose fantasy in the same tuning is found in the same manuscript.
Performed by Daniel Shoskes on a 4 course renaissance guitar built by Daniel Larson
