Very old. Began career as singer/guitarist working clubs/cabaret. Taught for Northumberland LEA for 30 years, ran International Summer School for classical Guitar in the 90's. Now working as a classical guitarist/singer/songwriter - from Dowland songs to Jackson Browne. Direct the BC International Guitar Festival.

Hi Paul, remember me? One of your predictions proved absolutely correct: I sold the Paul Fischer 8 string guitar and bought a ten string. A couple of years ago I developed a defect in my thumb nail so I cut off my nails and learned a lute like technique. I use gut strings on the top and generally low tension (about 5kg per string). I am much the better player since the break from nail and plastic. Check out www.rmclassicalguitar.com. I no longer teach the guitar having decided that I did not want to be poor.
