- Professional lute and early guitar maker.
Master in Architecture from Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 1993.
Basically self thought and two long summer courses at Marholmen in Sweden with Arne Lindberg and Kenneth Sparr. Learned a lot about the instruments, sound, stringing, setup, construction, repertoire and playing technique from attending masterclasses in lute playing at Ringve International Summer school and similar courses in Bremen and Heidelberg with Hopkinson Smith, Rolf Lislevand, Jacob Lindberg and Paul O`Dette. I have an old stock of materials collected back from 1990 ties that I make my instruments from. My instruments are sold to professional players in Norway and Germany. I have made some measurements and construction drawings of old guitars and Norwegian folk instruments at Ringve Museum, Trondheim, Norway. Pagez, Fabricatore and anon.
