Profile Information

About me:
I have studied and played classical guitar since 1962, and renaissance lute since 1970. I have long been interested in, and played early Spanish viheula music on the classical guitar. However, I have never tried a vihuela or baroque guitar. I play a 1966 Manuel Velazquez guitar (which is a copy of a Hauser) and a 1970 David Rubio lute. My Ph.D. is in Metallurgical engineering, and I recently retired from a 44 year career specializing in Electron Microscopes, and am devoting my remaining life to music.
