About me:
I teach at Pomona College and Claremont Graduate University, build modern and historic guitars, and perform solo and ensemble concerts on vihuela, baroque, 19th C. and modern guitars. I am on the touring roster for the Piatigorsky Foundation in New York. In addition, I am a Board of Trustee member of the Guitar Foundation of America and write a regular column, "Essays on Playing the Guitar," for Soundboard, the quarterly journal of the GFA.
