"I am no expert on instrument construction but I think that soundboard is usually flat but the back may be vaulted. "

Domed Top and back?

I have been trying to find out if the top and back on baroque/early guitar are usually built flat or given a domed shape, like a classical guitar. Looking at measured drawings and photos seems to indicate that they are usually flat. Any information will be appreciated! Thanks!
