About me:: I simple love early music; to play, sing, arrrange, transcribe, conduct and then just to listen and learn. Found Israel on Baroque guitar/u tube late last night and was really impressed with his very musical performance of Corbetta's Passacaglia, Bravo! I just purchased a new Baroque guitar and I'm learning as much as I can. Would love to know the source for Corbetta's Passacaglia, not near a college music Library. I need to go directly to the source for purchase, thanks.

So you want to know a little about me......as a 20 year old I taught myself to play lute, read tab, and transcribe; learned off extant facsimilie sources like Mace, Dowland, Robinson, Campian.

Back to me, doctoral Dissertation (Florida State Univ.'97) "Performance Guide to the Stuart Masque." Former guitar student of Bruce Holzman (masters & doctorate), and was also a private student of Pepe Romero for many years. Visiting Artist for State of North Carolina, Concert Artist, also played gigs all my life as a classical guitarist, lutenist, singer, delta blues guitarist, etc in Chicago, Atlanta, Tallahassee, etc.. Recently retired as College Fine Arts Dean and Executive Director of FHEAN (a consortium of all college deans in the state of Florida). Taught high school music and college. I hold a US Patent and also hold a Ph.D. in choral conducting. NATS winner upper division college men in singing. Oh yea, I 'm one of a handful of lutenist/guitarists to sing self-accompanied; lute songs, some of Brittens works, Daniel Pinkham (composed for me), Italian art songs, Lieder, Lorca songs, etc..
