About me:
I am a music historian by training -- author of the thesis "The Guitar as Continuo Instrument from Juan Carlos Amat to Nicola Matteis" many years ago -- now semi-retired and returning to my first love. I am presently writing a book on the history of the guitar and its role in American music in the nineteenth century.
