Yesterday, after 3 years of waiting, I finally received my Italian-style vihuela from Lars J.
Vaulted back in ebony. Side in ebony. Neck and pegbox in pearwood. Pegs in plumwood. Fingerboard in ebony and lemonwood. Top contour in snakewood.
Parchment rose by Elena dal Cortivo, Italy.
Mensure 605 mm, pitch 440 Hz.
Strings: new nylgut except for the two lowest basses which are carbon fiber (KF).
