Bonjour Valéry, L'accord do Machete c'est: ré2 - sol2 - si2 - ré3, pour la musique de la moitée du XIX siècle jusq'au ca. 1904. Mais pour le répertoire plus ancien (ca, 1844), les originals demand: ré2 - sol2 - si2 - mi3. Le ukulele soprano à la mesme accord re-entrant du Rajão madeirense. Tu continue à jour la musique de la renaissance? À bientôt

How do you tune the Machetes ? in open G tuning or like ukes ?

Hi Jelma, I play original portuguese music for machetes and romantic guitar, traverso and soprano of the XIXe century. This musica is in Ms from Madeira. A CD coming soon.

Hello Manuel, can I ask what repertoire you played with this fantastic ensemble? Are there many player of these (historical?) machetes?
