Soon I will show some pictures of the construction process. I'm making the tuners handmade in my workshop as those in the market are very expensive and take several years to deliver. I am preparing all parts of the instrument with high quality wood. Regards.

Hello Jean-Pierre, Thank you for your comments taht help me to improve my work. It's amazing how the guitar has volume that despite having a fairly small sound top size.

Now I'm working on a copy of a guitar by Etienne Laprevotte , 1838 (the same year that the Pernas) but with a completely different structure.

Hello Aaron,

I am very pleased with this guitar ; surprising sound with a good balance between the treble and the bass.  Can play quite loud and very confortoble to hand. I think mine come with nylon strings.

Still I have to do more tests (I want to rotate the three types of strings on three guitars). The three bound strings sound very similar. The sound of gut strings is not very bright, but it is round and powerful. The nylon is a sound intermediate, less beautiful and much like a normal classical guitar. Finally Nylgut strings are much brighter and full of treble sounds, not at all like gut strings. Next week I'll try to upload to youtube samples with different strings. Regards.

The original is unable to play due to poor condition. I have one copy with nylon strings, another with Nylgut and the third one I have at this moment with gut strings. The findings are very interesting.
