Circle of Jean-Marc Nattier

This painting of a lady playing the guitar was sold at Sotheby's in April 2000 - presumably to a private buyer. Nattier (1685-1766) was official portrait painter to Louis XV and painted numerous portraits of young ladies at the French Court.
