A network for historic guitars and vihuelas
The most time consuming project in building Stauffer "Legnani" model guitars. The neck and head. This takes me the better part of two days but is my favorite part of the build. I love the intricate exacting joinery involved. The sad part is that all the crazy joints are covered with a etched tuner plate, veneer or painted over so only God can see. One day I'll make a "Legnani" where all the various pieces are visable and clear varnished so we all can see the wonderful features Stauffer built into his guitars.
