One of the numerous local media reports. The somewhat hazardous lift into Temple Meads Station, where it was to go on display, was even followed by an American TV station. However, it was a very windy day and I think they were hoping the cable would break - it would certainly have made a spectacular news item. The lift was even illustrated in the September 1994 edition of 'Loaded' magazine, though I don't think EG&V is quite ready for the sort of thing!
