You'll find a lot more information on his ancestor JB. Guadagnini - probably considered in the top 5 fiddle makers, along with Strad, Del gesu, Amati etc. You will have to scour the books on Violin makers - the Hills, maybe old Strad magazine articles. Duanne Rosengard wrote a book on the Guadagnini family of makers. I've no idea how much of C. Guadagnini is in there. Those type of Violin books tend to be hugely expensive. There were a lot of Guadagnini's!

This is a wonderful early period guitar which is in need of restoration but very playable. Any information about the Guadagninni guitar/s and or family will be very much appreciated. This guitar is available for viewing by arrangement.
