How old is too old?

Just curious what we're allowed to post here. I know some people end up on the wrong side of the rules for posting guitars from too late a date (post Torres), but what about the guitar's earlier evolution? For instance the 'guitarra latina' and 'guitarra morisca'? The latina definitely seems to be a forerunner of the renaissance guitar. The morisca is more like a gittern, and is perhaps a guitar only in name. Also what about the citole?

Just checking because I have done a few recent builds of this kind, and wanted to check rather than go ahead and post a few new threads that may make more work for the admin.
