Authenticity and sparkle for your romantic-era repertoire!

Romantic guitars after early c.19 french school, by A. Hernández. México, 2024

Flush fingerboard, overall light construction, ladder bracing and the rest of elements to achieve a true c.XIX guitar experience. Not a small classical. No boxy sound

This kind of guitar is way more difficult for me to make (and to sell!) Hence, these (two) are the last ones of this type I ever make, and thus I'm offering them at a reduced price

Spruce and paloescrito (a CITES-free true dalbergia native to México) Ebony fretboard and bridge

The top is sealed with shellac. B&S have nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Neck and head are ebonized with lamp black. Leather strap is included. Tuners are DerJung.

String action is currently set at 2.2 mm and 3 mm but it can be heightened per request by me at no additional charge. It can also be easily modified later by a luthier since the neck/body joint is held by single screw (I said authenticity right? Yeah, well I meant functional and acoustic. In regards of construction i take lots of unhistorical approaches whenever I can see it could be beneficial for the proper functioning of the guitar as a musical instrument in the long run)

It was made under controlled humidity conditions and expected to live in the 40-70% RH range.

My instruments are NOT perfect by any means, but I work very hard to get the more out of my wood and to make the best instrument I can with it, without considerations of time or budget to always offer more than I'm willing to receive
