Mr. Rusnak based this instrument outline on the Dias guitar but built it with a slightly deeper body than most renaissance guitars for a fuller tone. Back, sides, and neck of figured maple; ebony fingerboard; spruce top with double purfling with a diamond pattern near the neck and heel; pearwood rosette. 8 pegs allow you the option of stringing the first course as single or double strings.

The instrument comes with a simple, coffin-style case built by Mr. Rusnak.
