About me:
Vladimír Ondrejčák has began playing the classical guitar since eleven years old as a pupil of Elementary music school of Jan Cikker in Banská Bystrica. Four years later presented to the success of the nationwide guitar competition Bojnice 1997, where he took secondprice.At the Conservatory in Banská Bystrica was a student of Mária Sedláková (guitar playing)He graduated at University of music and performing arts in the classroom of Jozef Zsapka and his assistant Martin Krajčo.During his studies he participated in master classes led by ronowned guitarist(Suzana Prieto, Odair Assad, Anders Miolin, Alvaro Pierri, Walter Feybli, Stefan Hackl, Marco Socias, Luciano Contini), and performed in various competitive events.He holds honorary recognition (for fourth place) of competition young guitarists in Dolny Kubin (2001) and twice winners of the International Guitar Competition J.K.Mertz.(2006, 2008 - 3rd price).As a soloist and chamber player, he appeared on the domestic stages (Hudba pod diamantovou klenbou 2004, Banskobystrická hudobná jar 2004, Kytarový festival - Štramberk 2007, Melos-Étos 2007, Orfeus 2007, Rimavskosobotská hudobná jar 2010, Festival Konfrontácie Nitra 2010, Hummelove dni 2010, Festival J. K. Mertza 2010, Pohoda festival 2010), but also in several European countries (Hungary, England, Austria, Czech republic, Italy).In 2010 made his first lecture on "Early Italian Renaissance and its way of interpreting the modern guitar" in the methodology day of Prievidza.Made the first recordings for Slovak television.In chamber music works with Bratislava Guitar Quartet. Since 2005 he has appeared in a duo with Denisa Benčová. They perform concerts at domestic and foreign concert halls.They performed concert in Slovak radio.Recording of the concert was broadcast on the radio Devin.In 2009 introduced the Slovak premiere works for guitar and piano J.K.Mertz, together with Zuzana Zamborská.The concert was met with positive criticism in Musical Life (slovak music magazine).In that same year founded with guitarist Karol Kompas Mertz Guitar Duo.Together they present a number of stages, and Slovak Festival Confrontations Nitra and Trenčín Pohoda festival at the trenčín´s airport.
