Early Guitars and Vihuela

A network for historic guitars and vihuelas

I have long enjoyed Kristian Buhl-Mortensen's recording of early music connected to Denmark, so was very pleased to come across this generous posting of music for 5-course guitar:

The music (in modern notation, not tab) includes music for guitar and continuo, as well as guitar duets.

I also find his introduction of music from Frederik IV  very interesting. Be sure to scroll up to see all the images in the Danish version.

Check the last suite.  The prelude for solo guitar sounds more classical than baroque, but it sounds as if conceived for a 5-course.
