DESCRIPTION: Italian and German guitars from the 19th and early 20th c
 enturies will be exposed at  the museum of luthery (Geigenbaumuseum) a
 t Mittenwald in the south of Germany, which is a well-known town for i
 ts long luthery tradition.  The exposition “aesthetics and sound” 
 will be inaugurated at April, 14th , and it will last for 6 months unt
 il October, 30th. Over 40 rare Italian and Mittenwald instruments can 
 be viewed there.  Opening: April, 14th, 5.00 pm. Afterwards, the guita
 r player Sandro Volta from Italy will hold a concert on some of the ex
 hibits in the close church St. Peter und Paul.  A catalogue will be av
