Early Guitars and Vihuela

A network for historic guitars and vihuelas

My brother, Greg Brown was an amateur guitar and vihuela player in Vermont. Before he died recently, he indicated that he had sent his vihuela for some repairs. He was unable to tell me where he had sent it, but I have reason to believe it could be to someone in New Mexico or perhaps Arizona. I would love to find this instrument, as it meant so much to him and now me. It might be a product of the Vera Brothers in Spain. Does anyone have any suggestions for luthiers in the American Southwest I could make enquiries to? Thank you.
