@Carlos Gonzales, maybe you of Mr Villalba can share some pictures or sounds when the replica is finished... I wonder about the sound, if it is very bass-heavy like my 1862 Recio... I love these Spanish guitars that are relatively unknown and have such interesting designs!

This guitar belongs to Jose Antonio Villalba, who kindly has brought to my workshop this instrument so I study it.

This Pernas  guitar is a lot like to the guitar of Jose Antonio Villalba (guitar maker and student in my lutherie school "Cuerdas Vibrantes) which has recently been restored and is preparing the plans. They have a very interesting sound and is an excellent example of simple guitar to musician.

Jose Antonio is building a replica, it will end soon.

Hello Jelma,

Thank you, as always, for your comments. In the future I plan to make a replica of this wonderful guitar. We are already preparing plans and I have already selected the appropriate wood (curly walnut and pine). But I don't know when I can make this instrument because I have now much workload.

Best regards.

Aarón

That is fabulously weird and wonderful. Are you building a replica?
