Baroque and Renaissance Guitars, Vihuela - Gittern - Pre-Torres Classical Guitar

This is played on a "pre-torres" fretted instrument, a nice Ukulele copy of a model by one of the three Portugese luthiers bringing the little guitar to Hawaii in 1879, Jose de Espirito Santo. The copy is made by Régis Thullier, who kindly lent me the instrument for some videos. Arrangement from baroque guitar to ukulele is by Rob MacKillop... ;-)

Hello Harry,
Yes soprano is really too small, I prefer the concert size now, but I'm waiting for a tenor sized. Baritone is closer to the renaissance guitar size. (but I already have a renaissance guitar...)

Beautiful, Valery! I've also purchased Rob's arrangements, and I play them on my newly received renaissance guitar. I also bought a soprano uke, but I found it too small, so I have just ordered a baritone uke, I was told that many guitarists choose this type.
