Profile Information

About me:
William Good has studied lute, theorbo and continuo practice with Douglas Freundlich, Catherine Liddell, Pat O'Brien and Stephen Stubbs. He has appeared with the Bodky-award winning Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra, Cascata, the New England Conservatory Opera Department's production of Egisto. William has recently performed in song recitals in the United Kingdom and in operas by Cavalli, Duron, Caldara and Purcell as well as being featured as guest soloist with Boston area ensembles Concordia and Ars et Amici. William received his bachelors degree from Berklee College of Music and has composed, performed and recorded contemporary music both domestically and internationally. In addition to being an aspiring foodie, he has recently composed the score for the PBS documentary, "Pueblo de Plombo."

Hi Bill,  I'll try to sort out some pictures for you and put them up - have been meaning to for ages.  It might actually be better if they went to the cittern site.  Being wire strung and with similar frets, bandoras can be considered as bass to the cittern family?  Anyway, I'll sort some pics first.  Mersenne says a little about their construction, which I've borne in mind but only partially followed.
